The Children's Ministry of Highlands takes its theme from John 15, "I am the Vine; you are the branches." This year, we will focus on the verse, "For apart from Me, you can do nothing," stressing our dependency on Christ.

We strive to give the children a firm foundation in our faith through Sunday School, Wednesday night activities, and Special Events. We currently have 120 children on our rolls--50 in the nursery and 70 in K-4--5th grade.  Each week our teachers have the opportunity to touch these young lives for Jesus and to draw them into the kingdom.  We long to come alongside you as parents and assist you in training your children in the ways of the Lord.

My prayer for your children as well as my own is this—“Lord, grow them up not only physically but spiritually, mentally, and relationally into complete men and women of God, just as Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”
